What strategies did you use to build/maintain trust with your participants?

1. The percentage of evictions rates shown, are the legal evictions for Rent or Other Causes? also, is there any data on the cause of the legal evictions? Lack of money and resources or potentially lack of money management skills?

Paying participants in dollars is so important - is that something your institution makes easy to do? We often are encouraged to do gift cards instead or refillable cards that are administratively cumbersome

Question: is possible, financial education will be needed in all communities, maybe this information offer another vision of our real life and as parent may have a better future for families/communities?

Curious - Did the study involve keeping track of the people after eviction? What happen to these people after eviction? Is there a manner of finding out who is getting an eviction notice and maybe contact them with information of where they can get assistance?

Yes! There is a big difference between Conventional, Tax Credit (Affordable) and HUD assisted rental programs and pricing. In general rental amounts are soaring, the cost of living is increasing and the minimum wages needed to catch up with these issues.

Afraid of child protective services.

Thank you for that because that trickles into so many other areas like food deserts, etc.

Yes Ludivina, many parents are afraid of their children being taken away due to a lack of stable housing or having to live in a shelter.

Yes, Dr. Jefferson. COVID allowed the curtains to fall down to allow the exposure of the things that people did not realize of the poverty within the community.

Just as important as what is being studied is who is conducting the study and how it is being framed.

Thank you for pointing out the trauma of an eviction. I came home to my apartment in Austin several years ago to find that a neighbor had been evicted. It was truly one of the saddest things I have ever felt. Neighbors were taking the furniture and personal items like jewelry boxes. It was just awful.
