Presented by Melissa Lawver, MA, LPC-S, and Nadine Bracy, MA, LPC, the purpose of this course is to educate mental health professionals on how to help clients with faith related stuck points following trauma through CPT. Concepts such as Faith World Belief as it relates to the just world theory will be explained, as well as how the five modules can be used to address faith-related stuck points. Adaptations to the responsibility pie, helpful Socratic questions and additional tools will be presented to help clients reframe faith related stuck points.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Explain how the CPT modules can be adapted to address faith-related stuck points for clients of diverse faith and cultural backgrounds.
2. Construct possible alternative statements to faith-related stuck points.
3. List and explain the use of 2 interventions to help clients reframe faith-related stuck points.
